The SkyQuest XT10 classic reflector has features for both beginners and advanced users. It has a huge aperture, the stable base glides easily to give you total pointing control, and this package includes a Barlow and Beginning Stargazer's Toolkit.

I have always wanted a telescope and decided to make this my first. And in no way was i disappointed! This is truly an amazing scope at a great value. Very easy to assemble and use. It really is perfect for any beginner with tons of room for growth. Not only do the planets and moon pop with detail but faint objects like galaxies and clusters shine beautifully. The only draw back is it is pretty big and heavy. Otherwise i would recommend this masterpiece of a scope to anyone with a real curiosity for what lies in the night sky.
Favorite viewing location: New Mexico
Pros: ease of use, great value, amazing views
Cons: heavy, not portable
