The Small Orion Deluxe Accessory Case has a durable aluminum exterior with reinforced edging, and the interior has egg crate foam on top and die-cut foam holes, bins and slots on the bottom to hold all your accessories safely.
This little case is perfect for my needs. I got tired of hauling around the small boxes and plastic bags that originally came with the eye pieces that I have. Currently I only have 3 eye pieces and a Barlow lens and I still have room for 1-2 more eyepieces. I also carry around my little red flashlight and a small cleaning cloth. The foam is a really nice fit around the objects inside, there is no rattling at all when I am walking around with it. Only thing I wish the case would do is open a full 180 degrees. Currently the case only open to 90 degrees and when the case is not balanced, sometimes the lid will close on its own. Overall though the case is great for my needs.
The Orion Shorty Barlow Lens doubles the power of any telescope eyepiece. It has a multi-coated lens that lets in more light and allows you to enjoy higher-power, sharper images without eye strain.
No more worries about running out of battery power during an observing session. This AC-to-DC Adapter will power your StarSeeker GoTo telescope from a 100-volt wall outlet. 6' cable included.
I didn't even attempt the use batteries knowing that they will run out way to fast. I purchased this with my first telescope and it's perfect. It does exactly what it's made for. The adapter is only 6 feet long so an extension cord is practically a mustto have also.
Celestron's NexStar 130SLT is perfect for viewing details of the lunar surface, the rings of Saturn or a number of Messier objects. The computerized hand control allows you to automatically slew to and view over 4,000 celestial objects.
I'll start out by saying that this is my very first telescope and I am just in love with it. I wanted a nice telescope without having to spend a large amount of money for but at the same time not spend too little where I would be disappointed in the longer run. I debated over rather or not to get a telescope with the ToGo feature and decided to go with it mainly because my location has some light pollution. The ToGo feature did make it much easier and smoother, and the tracking ability is just outstanding. For example, I was able to track Saturn for over 40 minutes only because I had to go inside that long for dinner, when I returned Saturn was still in the eyepiece. Just make sure it's completely level before you go through to alignment phase. One thing that is a MUST to get with the telescope is the Power Adapter. Now the actual adapter is only a few feet long so you need to get an extension cord too from your local store. When it came to assembling the telescope from the box, it was insanely easy. Many things were already put together for you. Only thing I had to put on was the finder scope, mount the optical tube to the mount, and pop in the accessory tray. It really can't get any easier. Over all I am very impressed with my purchase, and recommend this one to any beginner. Clear skies and good observing.
