For deep sky observing in light-polluted areas this 1.25" Orion SkyGlow Broadband Telescope filter is perfect. It blocks the most common wavelengths of light pollution for increased contrast and better views.

Zoom eyepieces allow you to view an object at low power and then view it at at a higher power without having to switch between eyepieces. The 7.2-21.5mm Orion Zoom Telescope Eyepiece has fully multi-coated optics for clear, sharp images.

The SkyQuest XT10 is a very affordable intermediate Dobsonian. The stable base and the attached EZ Finder II make it easy to move the telescope and find objects. The XT10 allows you to view objects brighter and in more detail than the XT8.

I'm just a regular guy that has always liked looking at the hevens at night. Now I look forward to the sun setting a lot more thanks to this scope. I now see detail and objects that were out of my old scopes range. This is my first Dob. and I am hooked,simple to use smothly moves from one object to the next.
