We are weekend warrior observers. For such an affordable bino I was surprised by it's quality. With an Orion HD-F2 tripod my 7 year old son and I couldn't be happier. The moon is awesome with the craters and mountains jumping out at you. Also good for daytime viewing down at the lake. The Orion nebulae looks like two bright headlights in the fog. If you live in a light polluted area you'll be amazed when you point these binos into the heavens.
Favorite object to observe: Star clusters
