The great thing about zoom eyepieces is that you can locate an object at low power and then just zoom in with no switching of eyepieces. The 7-21mm Orion Explorer II zoom telescope eyepiece has fully coated optics and long eye relief.

This zoom eyepiece works as advertised. It comes in handy to search for objects and then bring them in for a closer look without having to change eyepieces. The movements are smooth and little effort is needed. There is a small light loss on the more powerful settings but this is happening to me because i am using it with a 2x Barlow which is changing the eyepiece from a 7-21MM to a 3.5-10.5mm. When i use the eyepiece as a 7-21mm it is clear and sharp. I recommend this piece is you want to take advantage of your stargazing time by eliminating eyepiece changeover time. Moon gazing is awesome with this eyepiece, its really nice to see wide view of craters and then zoom in on areas for closer view all in the same session without stepping back to change eyepieces.

The 40mm Orion HighLight Plossl is a very low powered telescope eyepiece perfect for viewing deep space objects. The fully multi-coated optics give you bright, sharp images and provides a high degree of color correction.

This is a jewel to view through to another universe in your hand. Taking it out of the box it felt special, like power. Looking through it, there was no doubt it was special. The image was clear and wide, Star clusters seemed as if they were calling with light so brilliant they seemed like diamonds floating, the dark background seemed endless. I could feel the loneliness of space as i viewed star after star. Very Very good eyepiece. I recommend it.

This is a great Item to have for the Nexstar 130 SLT. I use it in conjunction with a portable power supply and it allows me to setup and scan the sky anywhere i want. The cord is more than long enough to allow the scope to function and keep the actual power supply under the telescope for good storage during use. Well made. I would like for the unit to come with some sort of cord ties for storage since the cords are long but other than that no complaints. This unit will also save me money on not having to use AA batteries. Good Job!

The 35mm Orion DeepView is a low powered, wide field eyepiece that offers bright, sharp images of deep-space objects. Free of pincushion distortion and chromatic aberration, with long 20mm eye relief so even eyeglass wearers can view comfortably.

This is a great addition to my 2" lens set and to my veiwing pleasure. It has a very nice field of view and very very clear. Star clusters sparkle like diamonds and nebulas like the Orion M42 looked awesome adjacent to the surrounding stars which you can only see up close and personal with this eyepiece due to its expanse view. I recommend this eyepiece whole heartedly!!! Great value for the price too!

 Orion StarShoot 0.5x Focal Reducer
Orion StarShoot 0.5x Focal Reducer
The Orion StarShoot 0.5x Focal Reducer adds versatility to your StarShoot camera by increasing the total imaging area by a factor of 4, and even better, reducing the focal ratio by 0.5x, meaning shorter exposures. Threads onto the 1.25" nozzle.

I acquired this item to use it with the starshoot USB Eyepiece, it worked as advertised and increased the field of view. The images i got where clear and required less focusing. I recommend this item for the starshoot but it is not required.

Orion's StarShoot USB eyepiece puts what you see in the telescope eyepiece directly to your laptop or desktop PC! Transmit a live image of the Moon, bright planets, Sun and terrestrial objects to the computer, and capture the results for processing.

This is a great item. I have used it with my Nexstar 130 SLT and it was esay to install and use. The terrestrial images are awesome and for night viewing it worked great with the NexRemote. I had both running on the same screen and being able to manipulate and see what the scope was seiing at the same time was awesome. I recommend this item. I am new to StarGazing but i know my way around computers and this item made my joining of both skills easy. Made me look like a pro!!!!!
