The Orion AccuFocus Electronic Telescope Focuser works with many Orion telescopes for pushbutton control of your focuser. It is very easy to install and is powered by one 9V battery (included).
You need to add this to your scope if you don't have a dual adjusment Crayford focuser. They also have one for the dual adjustment Crayford. It just makes the experience more pleasurable by leaving your hands out of the equation. Look we have goto and motorized scopes, why not motorize your focuser. Even with solid mounts such as the Atlas there is still some vibration that gets through but with the AccuFocus the speed is adjustable from fast so when your changing ep's you can get to the sweet spot. Then turn the knob to the slow speed to fine tune it.
This Orion 203mm Reflector optical tube is perfect for those intermediate observers who already own an equatorial mount. Use the included camera adapter and attach this to your favorite DSLR or CCD camera to begin your astrophotography journey.
I have had this for about 8 years and along with the Highlight Plossls and 26mm Q70 EP's it has been the greatest show on earth. I own a Meade 10in. LX200 which is a great scope, but I just think the view from the Orion 8in. OTA is sharper, which is why I'm glad to finally have it mounted. I also recommend the Orion AccuFocus for this OTA. It really makes a difference when trying to get a sharp view of your object by allowing hands free adjustment of the focus. The speed is adjustable making it very precise.

Slightly higher power than the 32mm, the 26mm Orion Q70 Wide-Field Eyepiece still gives you the super-wide 70-deg field of view, great for a new perspective on your favorite objects. The multi-coated lenses provide clear, high contrast images.
I have had this EP for about 3 years and have been dazzled by it everytime I use it. When I let my wife and kids view the Moon or Jupiter through it the can't believe what they see. You don't know how many times I've said, "Can you see those bright things next to Jupiter, they are its moons", the reply is, "What"!, "They are Jupiters moons"? And then I get, "Wow I can see the bands"! Then, "Can we go in, its cold"? Yeah go in.

This 13" Orion Dovetail Mounting Plate allows you to couple telescope optical tubes to AstroView, SkyView Pro, Sirius, and Atlas equatorial telescope mounts. It includes four optical axis offset adjustment screws.
Having an Orion OTA 8in reflector, F/4.9 and 1000mm for 8 years, I needed a sturdier mount other than the Skyview Deluxe EQ I had purchased with the OTA. I added an Accutrack SVD to the setup it really worked great keeping objects in the eyepiece. The setup as a whole worked fine for visual viewing, until you had to adjust the focus. The vibration caused took a while to dissipate. I recently came across an LXD75 slightly used, in great shape and cheap! I needed a dovetail to mount the rings and scope to. I saw this one here, it was on sale at a great price and I can tell you it is Solid and Stable! My scope now rests atop the mount solidly awaiting the chance to go outside and show me what it can do and I can't wait.
