Want one of the most affordable telescopes for astrophotography? The Orion StarBlast 4.5 works great with small-chip CCD cameras to provide clear images with short exposure times. A good light weight, very portable option for any astrophotographer.

I find the 4.5 scope very good, what I did not like is it only has a 1.25 focuser, it should have a 2" with a 1.25 converter. I can't use any of my 2" eye pieces for viewing. Other then that, I wish I would have gotten a 6" scope.
