Your arms can get tired and the image can get shaky without a tripod. The Orion Paragon-Plus Binocular Mount holds most binoculars up to 80mm for comfortable viewing at any height. Compatible with any tripod that has a 1/4" or 3/8" threaded post.

It is a good product for my smaller binocs but the wt is not heavy enough to support and balance my larger binocs. It would be nice if different size wts were available for this mount.
