The Orion SpaceProbe 3 is a great beginner's telescope at a great price. It is perfect for viewing the moon, planets, and some nebulas. A very portable, light weight, and uncomplicated telescope.

This is the first telescope I purchased. It is for the family and I to go star gazing in and around Wyoming. I took it out Christmas Eve to "test" it before the kiddos got to it. I was astonished at the clarity the optics provided. It looks like it will take a little time to get used to the mount and controls. They are all easily accessible. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can stay outside longer.
