I have had this software for years. Starry Night Pro 6 that has been updated to 6.4.3 now. Once you install the software it'll have an update I'm sure. It works on my Windows 7 64bit computer and love it. It displays a live view (or past and future if you want) of the sky. I see a bright object outside, fire up Starry Night Pro and identify it. See what Earth would look like if I was standing on the Moon right now or from Mars right now. It's fun to play with.
It's a little expensive up front, but years of use and it seems worth it.
