The AstroView 90 is an affordable, high quality refractor telescope. It provides excellent image quality at an amazingly low price. Add an optional electronic drive for hands-free star tracking or a correct-image prism diagonal for daytime use.

I am just starting to get back into Astronomy, after being away from it for a few years. I am not a beginner, but after being away from it, I am approaching it as a newbie, since the technology and products that have come out in the last few years have dramatically changed. This Telescope is Great value for the money, it is powerful enough to keep Amateur astronomers, New Astronomers busy for years to come! The Scope is very well made, even the EQ mount that it is on, is very easy to use for first time users, after a little reading of the manual supplied on how to set it up, and Align the mount. It produces absolutely fantastic images through the eyepieces that are supplied to get you started, and you won't be discouraged from frustration, which happens to alot of newcomers because they expect something that they see in a magazine. The eyepieces are powerful enough to get superb detail of The Moon (probably every new Astronomer's first target with their new scope), as well as details of the other close planets...Bands on Jupiter, and the Rings of Saturn. After using this scope, you will definately get bit by the Astronomy Bug!! (Or again, as in my case!!) I Certainly recommend this Telescope. Also, as a sidenote...Orion truly does have 100% excellent Customer Support for any type of help or questions that you would have, so I encourage anyone who purchases from them to take them up on their support, because they really are there to help! Probably the best support I have experienced!
