The AstroView 6 is a great telescope for the intermediate viewer. The manual slow motion knobs track objects or add an optional EQ3 DC drive to the mount to power the scope electronically. A good size telescope for planetary and deep sky viewing.

This was my first real telescope and all i can say is wow. The first night out and the first star i gazed at was jupiter. Great Telescope, im glad i bought it. Now im off to buy some eye pieces :-)
Favorite viewing location: Drive way
Favorite object to observe: Jupiter but Saturn will be my favorite
