For easy aiming of bigger telescopes, the 9x50 Right-Angle Correct-Image Finder Scope shows you an upright, non-reversed image. And the right-angle design allows for comfortable viewing.

9.5mm Orion Epic ED-2 Telescope Eyepiece

I started off with one 3.7mm Epic EP and eventually went to swapping my entire set to the Epic's (and one Televue). For the price they are GREAT Eyepieces!!! Actually...for even more than the price, they are great eyepieces. I highly recommend them to beginners up to avid astronomers. :)

For the intermediate viewer the Celestron NexStar 8SE is a great portable field telescope. The one-arm mount with hand controllers puts 40,000 celestial objects at your fingertips. The portable single fork is much lighter than a two fork arm system.

Great Scope! Good for overall use; i.e. deep space and planetary. Strong construction and great optics. Recommended.
