The Orion Mini Giant 15x63 Binoculars excel for both astronomical and terrestrial viewing. The binoculars grab more light than a 50mm yet they don't have the weight or bulk of larger giant binoculars. Long eye relief makes for comfortable viewing.

Just got my new 15X63 binocs. They certainly inspire confidence as they are clearly manufactured with care. A little on the heavy side to me, as I have only used terrestrial binoculars before. I wouldn't want anything heavier without a tripod. Even though these are relatively light for astronomy binocs, the images I see are a little shaky in my hands, and I'm wondering if 15x is right for me. Certainly the 9x63s will have more stable images with the lower magnification. I may exchange these for those. Not sure yet. I can't believe I was considering higher power or heavier binocs for my hand-held viewing needs. The eye relief is sufficient for viewing while wearing my glasses.
Yes, I recommend this product!
