The Orion SkyView Pro 8 is great for the intermediate astronomer. Images are much brighter and sharper than with a 6" reflector. The large focal length allows you to resolve fine detail at high powers. It can be upgraded to GoTo at any time.

This telescope has everything you can wish in a scope.Outstanding optics, easy to use,excellent overall performance.The mount has a solid construction,your eyes wont believe the fine details this scope has at high power. Images are brighter and sharper than with any other telescope.Excellent craftsmanship and very careful detailed construction. .EXCELLENT BUY.Their customer service is excellent.
