With the internal GPS, just choose any 3 bright stars or planets in the sky and the telescope is aligned and oriented. For the intermediate to advanced viewer, the Celestron CPC 800 XLT Goto that can take you to any of more than 40,000 objects.

Owned mine for 2.5 yrs and have been very pleased. Good value. GoTo is very accurate and a real time saver. 17A Powertank failed within 2yrs., though.
