The Orion AstroView 100mm is a wonderful telescope for the serious beginner or intermediate stargazer. The included tripod, equatorial mount, and polar-alignment scope make finding and viewing star clusters, nebulae and planets smooth and effortless.

I was so nervous about buying a new telescope. I searched countless websites looking for the perfect one. I decided on the Orion AstroView 100mm and was completely shocked with the results. I could not be happier...what a gem. I live in a light polluted area and was worried about having to transport my telescope over an hour away to get far from the city lights. This was not the case, at all!!!! Spectacular views of the moon, Jupiter and his moons, I even found the Andromeda galaxy all in one night. I highly recommend you follow my course of action and purchase this one.
