Would you like more contrast and less glare while viewing the moon and bright planets? The 1.25" Orion Variable Polarizing Telescope Filter reduces both and brings out details. And you can adjust the amount of light transmission for the perfect view.

Put the filter together and threaded it into an eyepiece. Fit like a watch. Will try it out in the spring when I can get outside.

Powering your telescope equipment at remote sites is easy with the Orion Dynamo Pro 12 Rechargeable Power Station. It includes a detachable red flashlight, white halogen spotlight, AM/FM radio, and booster cables to jump-start a weak car battery.

I was considering the purchase of a D cell charger and rechargeable D cell batteries. However the expense of the Orion Dynamo Pro and the charger, batteries was close to the same. Replacement of D cell rechargeable batteries were more costly than what a replacement SLA battery would cost. The Dynamo also is a nice neat package with many other features than the charger/batteries.

The Orion TrueTrack DC drive system provides dual-axis control for high-power viewing and photography with the SkyView Pro mount. It allows you to choose from 3 different speeds as well as a pause mode as well as sidereal tracking for total control.

I am very pleased with the ease of installing the True Track drive. It has been cold here so I haven't had an opportunity to try it outside yet. However I did set the scope up inside through a window and it tracked beautifully. I chose the True Track rather than the Go To because I find locating items in the sky is half the enjoyment of viewing.
